Bad redaction

The release of another batch of MP's expense claims is now largely a non-story. But in amongst the blacked-out details there are always some things that the redactors have missed. Their eagle eyes missed such things as Nigel Dodds London phone number, and in many cases things that were redacted on one document are curiously left unredacted on another.

One nice little gem is on one of Iris Robinson's forms, where the censor failed to black out her (and Peter's) London address on a 2008 gas bill (page 11 for the anoraks).

I wonder if the Robinsons ever chuckled over the postcode:
E16 2SF

Easter 1916 to Sinn Féin.

E16 2SF! WTF.
If you're going to charge tax payers for the cost of a second home why do you buy it in the other end of London? How much do taxpayers waste on paying for their commute across town from zone 3 (Pontoon Dock) to zone 1 (Westminster)? Even more if they go by taxi.

According to Google Maps it is 9.9 miles between Westminister and E16 2SF could they not find somewhere a bit closer?

I love the way Irish Nationalists are so outraged by the waste of UK tax payers money, given the fact that Ulster's economy was wrecked by Irish Nationalists.

Irish Nationalists wrecked the Ulster Economy I don't think so. Tell me Watcher how many bombs did the SDLP plant at Factories and other workplaces? How many workers did the SDLP shoot dead on there way to or from work. I think you will find the answer is zero.

Well researched Horseman.
I also agree about Conall McDevitt (O'Conall St).
I wouldnt agree with him on everything but its nice to see another Dub getting involved.
My local has quite a few familiar accents nowadays

Paisley's little outburst is a response to a post by Owen Polley aka Chekov over on Comment is Free. The Bloggers seem to be doing all the running for project UCUNF Reg Empey is keeping very quiet these days. And who could blame him after Farmer Elliott's performance on Hearts and Minds last week.
