The TUV is not gone away yet

Apparently:
At its Central Council meeting last night TUV delegates reviewed its disappointing General Election results, but determined that it would continue to give voice to Unionists who still rejected unrepentant terrorists in government and the rigged system of mandatory coalition which put them there.

A TUV spokesman said:
"The message from across the party was clear, the cause which brought TUV into existence remains right. Likewise the extension to Northern Ireland of the universal right to vote a party out of office and to have an Opposition is an unanswerable imperative which can only be attained through the replacement of unworkable compulsory coalition at Stormont with the democratic and viable alternative of voluntary coalition."

And so on it goes, until next year's Assembly and local elections …

Unionist disunity is, of course, a gift to nationalism, but sometimes one can have too much of a good thing. Allister and his friends should listen to the electorate – their brand of negativity is unpopular and is not likely to come back into fashion unless something dramatic happens.

Horseman,
Just check out Mr Vance's A Tangled web complete with mad Andy. Is it any wonder they have no support.
It is great entertainment though!

Yup, doesn't look like the Unionist community is going to bite. Who needs a third group of extremists when you have two parties with the likes of Willie McCrea and David McNarry?

'Is it any wonder they have no support.'

Yes, Irish nationalists prefer to lend their support to those who excused murder, terrorism and butchery for three decades. If it's a choice between no support and the support of scum, I'll go for the former.

Welcome back, Andrew McCann.

I thought youvwere a Tory, though? So presumbly you don't actually want the TUV to do well - your 'party' is UCUNF on this side of the Irish Sea, is it not?

PS, have you heard of Torrens Knight? People in glass houses, etc ...

'I thought youvwere a Tory, though?'

My preferences regarding NI seats were made clear during the referendum.

'PS, have you heard of Torrens Knight? People in glass houses, etc ...'

Indeed I have. PS, have you heard of La Mon, Bloody Friday, Canary Wharf, Deal, etc.? Irish nationalists don't have a glass house. Thiers is the size of the old Crystal Palace.

Just popped by to make my feelings clear. I've no intention of gracing this ridiculous site for any longer than is absolutely necessary.

As opposed to Irish unionists, who just love to lavish it on parties who justify the same over the past eight centuries.

Arlene Foster's remark probably refers to the dozen or so ballot papers spoiled by the initials TUV written on them
